At the USAID-THRIVE pre-application conference, which was held on May 14, 2024, at the Abuja Continental Hotel in Abuja, was the Executive Director of YERF. The conference provided an overview of the USAID- THRIVE program, highlighting its goals, focus areas and eligibility criteria for prospective applicants.
USAID representatives discussed the thematic areas of the THRIVE program which include, health (focus on HIV/AIDS pandemic; with children and adolescents as a priority population), education, economic development in targeted states in the Northern and southern regions of Nigeria. USAID emphasized the importance of partnerships and collaboration with local stakeholders, governments, NGOs, and other organizations in implementing the THRIVE project effectively.
The conference outlined guidelines for preparing competitive proposal. The application process includes key deadlines, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria. YERF is ready to put forward innovative ideas and collaborate with USAID on this laudable project.
