Chigoziri Adamma Ajunwah is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, Management Consultant, and Tax Expert of high repute.
She is a native of Umuahia North LGA of Abia state, Nigeria.
She attended Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology
In her quest for knowledge, she ventured into the dreaded studies and examinations of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN which is far different from her course of study at the university.
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2005 and was inducted by ICAN as an Associate member of the Institute in 2006. She was inducted into the prestigious Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, CITN as an Associate member in 2008 and became a member of the Information System & Control Auditors (an International body of Financial, System, and Control auditors) in 2009
In 2012, she went further to obtain a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Osun State, Nigeria.
In 2013, due to her outstanding performance as a practicing Accountant, ICAN awarded her the status of a FELLOW of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
In 2016, having achieved so much in Tax practice, she was also awarded another FELLOW by The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Also in the same 2016, due to her humanitarian
services especially in the area of Youth empowerment and care for the less privileged she was awarded a traditional chieftaincy title in her community as “AMUMA INYOM 1”
Mrs. Chigoziri has worked in various Accounting firms; worthy of mention is the firm ADETODUN OSHIYEMI & CO, OLAWALE SHORUNKE & CO., and UNEEK CONSULTING SERVICES where she achieved several milestones as TEAM Leader in various Assignments, (including some World Bank projects) & Audit Manager in the firms. She was once a Partner in the firm of OLAWALE SHORUNKE & CO (Chartered Accountants) until 2010 when she set up her Accounting firm of CHIGOZIRI AJUNWA & CO (Chartered Accountant, Tax & Mgt Consultants) where she is currently the Managing Partner.
Chigoziri is a Philanthropist, a mother, and a people-oriented person.
